Advisor answers

Choosing hairstyles and using the optional rule-based Advisor do not require an account. We use an account only when you start private Try-On: to apply purchased-credit billing and control access to your private session. The optional face shape, texture, density, hairline, length, and maintenance answers are used to produce recommendations and are not stored as a personal profile.

Private AI Try-On

Try-On is optional. Purchased credits support 1–3 reviewed styles and are charged 1 credit for each successfully generated 1K preview. A verified account can also use one free, watermarked single-style preview, subject to the site-wide daily generation budget. Your original photo and generated previews are stored in private object storage and are served only through the protected Try-On session; they are not placed in a public gallery or given permanent public URLs.

Hairstyle Advisor currently uses GPT Image through its configured image-generation provider. The provider receives the submitted photo and the selected hairstyle reference needed to generate each preview. We do not use uploads to train our own models, sell them, or publish them. The provider processes data under its own applicable terms and privacy commitments. We will update this disclosure if the model used for Try-On changes.

Try-On requests are also subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Private storage does not make prohibited content acceptable, and the model provider may refuse requests under its safety controls.

Our database stores only the operational metadata needed to run and delete the session, such as a random session-token hash, selected catalog identifiers, private object keys, content type, processing status, consent time, and expiry time. We do not store image base64 data, face embeddings, or the generation prompt in the session database.

Retention and deletion

Session originals and generated previews are scheduled for deletion within 24 hours. You can choose to keep one private default Try-On photo for future sessions; you can delete it at any time without deleting session copies, generated previews, or saved results. Explicitly saved previews remain private until you delete them.

You may create a share link only for a saved preview. The link expires after 30 days by default, can be revoked at any time, is not indexed, and never exposes the original uploaded photo. If a generation fails because of a system or provider error, we automatically release the free entitlement or reverse the affected purchased-credit charge. The session cookie contains a random private token; only a one-way hash of that token is stored in the database.

If an object cannot be deleted during one attempt, the session is marked for another cleanup attempt rather than being treated as successfully deleted. Contact us if an immediate deletion request reports an error.

Basic site operation

Like most websites, the service may receive limited technical request information needed to serve pages, diagnose failures, and protect the service from abuse. We do not show advertising or rewarded videos. If analytics is enabled, product events cover free-preview starts, completions, failures and purchase conversion, paid Try-On starts, completed comparisons, and similar product actions, together with a query-free page path and limited fields such as style count, resolution, product, or payment provider where relevant. We do not intentionally send photos, face attributes, selected combinations, prompts, session tokens, private object keys, signed media URLs, user IDs, or email addresses to analytics.
